He is born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, 1973and works as a media artist. He was educated at the School of Art and Design of Nagoya University of Arts and completed the postgraduate Fine Arts Course in 1999.
He is a full time government employee and works in a special support school, but still finds time to make art. 1999-2006 he made mainly films and installations. Now photography is his principal medium.
He has exhibited widely, including: ARTEC '97 Nagoya City; 1998: Electronically Yours, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography; The Visual Extensions of Photographic Image,
National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul; 1999: Time Migration – Tecno-Art for the New Millenium, Taipei Gallery, New York; 2002: New Media New Face 02, NTT Inter Communication Center, Tokyo; 2005: Very, Very Human, Toyota Municipal Museum of Art; 2006: Dual Realities, Seoul Museum of Art.
